I've done some writing :D
Yes, I know I have done some failed attempts at writing i.e. my Nirvana Saints story and my Fractured Fairytale (who knows when I'll find time to finish it :[
So here are some prompts that are part of the Sylvia series, and may give some insight into my life itself. Deep thoughts people, deep thoughts.
1) Wander:
"Alright class, I will now talk to you about the importance of the Reflexive verbs..." is the last
thing she hears before her mind wanders to the fartherest reaches of her imagination. She wants to be anywhere but here, but they will never know, fooled by her masquerade of dazed smiles
and polite nodding.
(this happens sometimes in Spanish)
2) Circular:
Her hands felt the edges of the circular hoop. "Annalese, for the last time, I cannot hula hoop,
and I am certain, that whatever you do, I could not twirl that G--damn hoop for more than 2
seconds around my waist!" Her petite cousin smiles a knowing smile and spins the hoop
around her own waist, while spinning her body in the same direction as the hoop. The hoop does
not fall, and continues in its circular orbit around her waist. Annalese smirks at her cousin's face of complete and utter shock and awe. "You, Annalese Jones, are a freaking GENIUS."
(btw, this one is true, just that I was like 8 and the genius was my neighbour, although i believe the real annalese probably could've thought of that herself...)
3) Beg:
Sylvia's eyes went wide. "Oh God, can we PLEASE not play Truth or Dare again?" The others smirked, saying with amusement, "Why? We all know you like-" "I don't!" she shrieked her face filled with horror at the complete and utter Godforsaken IDIOT that they thought she liked. "Why the hell do you all think that? I don't like anybody!" They all smirked again, "Sure sure Sylvia, you keep saying that to yourself-" "SHUT YOUR BLOODY PIE HOLES!! I DON'T LIKE ANYONE DO YOU UNDERSTAND?!" she screamed, a new emotion boiling in her. Pure and utter rage. Her friends obviously liked toying with her, but they never knew when to stop. She didn't like anyone, she hadn't for a very long time, the opposite gender was to her annoying, proud and majority of them crude brutes, one way or another. They obviously roped her with their chosen boy, probably because was Asian, as all Asians liked other Asians, it was stereotyped like that always. She clenched and unclenched her fists, took a deep breath and stalked away, trying to find what she referred to as "The Other Side" also known as Ruth's friends. She knew that Ruth and Naomi would let her join their group until she cooled off, regardless of what any of the others would say. She knew she would do anything to join that group until she had cooled off, even beg on her knees to, as misery loves company, even friends of friends. Misery also needs things to make her forget her misery, i.e. laughing at
supposed, 'Gay gymnists.'
(this is a mixture of events that happened around 2 years ago, in a bit of rough patch in schooling where I was kinda a half-drifter and was under some pressure to basically, 'Admit that I liked one of the 40ish guys in the Year, as my friend had a theory that at any one time, you must've liked at one of them. By telling the world about it, this means that they could supposed 'torture' for Truth or Dare.' This was quite cruel and they stopped soon after I had screamed at them, and we made amends about it. And yes, this was the reason why I will never ever play Truth or Dare, or any game like it, if anybody is wondering. Also, the 'The Other Side' thing is completely and utterly true, and I'm quite close to 'Ruth' and was to Naomi when we were all still in high school. I kinda hope none of you minded me tagging along with you, and randomly getting laughs from the running gag of the supposed 'gay gymnist' thing. Although I had nothing against gymnists or even your, um, torturee? Victim? Idk... but seriously, looking back on it, it was really cruel, and I kinda feel bad about it... Yes, this whole drabble was me ranting and getting surpressed anger out from a long time ago I suppose.)
4) Faint:
She had never seen anyone faint before in her life. She had heard about it, never seen it.
The day started off fine, although one of them dreaded Menigico- something injections were scheduled today, but it was really no sweat, it was just like her other injections, a simple prick, maybe just going a bit deeper and longer than usual. Time seemed to be on hyperspeed that day, as one minute she was exiting her car, in another she was walking up to the smiling cheery lady waving to her, a lethal looking needle resting innocently on the table, and then she was standing in assembly, singing the National Anthem, her arm heavy and numb with the injection. She glanced around, opening her mouth again to join in with chorus,
"Make her prayers heard afar,
God def-"
Several screams cut off the climax. She whipped her face directly towards the commotion, directly behind her. The scene before her made her heart skip a beat. A boy in her class had collapsed onto the floor, his skin grey, his arms limp. But it was the eyes that frightened her the most. The had rolled upwards, making what she could see only pure white eyeball. She had seen many people roll their eyeballs up for fun in class, but never like this, permanent, with absolutely no iris showing whatsoever. She never imaged that such a thing could happen to anyone, let alone herself.
For the rest of the afternoon she tried to shove the thought from her mind, focusing on what the teacher said, or what gossip some person had made up.However, she just couldn't stop that image of the boy sprawled on the hall floor, skin pale, eyes purely white from eating in her control away. And so, as she saw her Mother rounding the corner to her classroom at the end of the day to pick her, she couldn't stop herself from running into her arms, tears pouring down her face at the fear of fainting. She couldn't talk, and let her mother lead her out of school. She
didn't really think, only listened to the disconnected voices that were around her.
"...alright?"
"...think."
"Tomorrow..."
"Coffee not..."
And the main conversation her Mother was having with her teacher.
"Sylvia's alright?"
"Yes, I'll put on her favourite movie when we're home."
"Do you think she will be able to go to school tomorrow?"
"I'm not sure. Do you think she's crying are because of the boy that fainted?"
"She probably cares about him..."
She knew she felt quite selfish right then, but at that moment, she felt appalled, for some reason.
She always thought that classmates were always just people that you had to put up with or be friends with, but, as she sat in the car, then in front of the t.v. with yells of "Nemo!" and "Have you seen my son?" blaring at her, she thought that maybe, just maybe, they were also like a second family to a person, grudgingly, but still family.
Sylvia i.e. me lived with this theory for about a month, but by next month, it had started to crumble and by the time I reached Year 5, when I was 10 a year after I think, the theory had been obliterated and blasted out of the water. Thanks class (sarcasm hand raised).
Hmmm... let's try for short non-angsty one next, capice?

BLOGGING FROM MY CLASSROOM :D or well the first bit anyway
YAY!!!! BLOGGER IS NOT BANNED ANYMORE!!!! *party dance*
Ok, so even though last year it was unblocked, I thought it would be blocked by our school computer people this year.
Like all these sites are now blocked >.< ALL GAME SITES.
This includes frivschool.com and even cartoonnetwork.com and nick.com. And I had just got the hang of that Calling All Titans game. Seriously, I managed to get up to the second level, and pwn 24 guys (you may be thinking 'WTF you bliddy suck but I didn't get half of the mini games originally... no, your right, I do suck).
Sidereel. That means I have to watch NCIS at home and break the broadband. CRAP. Fanfiction. I enjoy reading the rare good ones and laughing at the crap ones, as bad as that sounds...
So all I can do now is play hearts, read tv.com forums and read manga. Actually, that's not so bad...
I've just realised for music, when my music teacher asked in our questionaire (writing quiz): "If you were on a desert island and had an iPod with one song on it, what would it be?"
My answers (we could have more than one answer)
-Fidelity -Regina Spektor
-Bottle It Up -Sara Barilles
-Don't Call Me When Your Sober-Evanesence
-Vanilla Twilight- Owl City
As much as that is an awesome song with awesome piano solos and cadenzas (showy off solo bit), I don't think your teacher will think highly of you when you write that as one of your favourite songs... I KNEW I SHOULD'VE PUT EVERYBODY'S FOOL!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!
And yep, that's it.

A lot of stuff @ Angel
-No, I don't join stuff like Subeta and Neopets. If you must know, after you created that Neopets account for me, I
a) at first couldn't get on (this was for around 1 1/2 years)
b) when I could, I didn't
c) this was partly because I had forgotten both my username and password
d) I'd worry because I'd probably kill all my (virtual) pets (this is why I don't have the guts to kill off my neopets portable thingy that I have had turned off in my draw for coming onto 4/5 years (and no, Annalese does not want it. I'm fairly sure.))
-I've kinda given up on tinier me. I honestly can't think of any diary posts at the moment. But feel free to copy stuff onto your account from this blog if you feel the need to buy that Lolita outfit that you always wanted (put credits though please).
-Also, I didn't know that there was a Jay Jays where you live? Any secret shopping malls you accidently forgot? Non? Oui? Not sure? Meh whatever...
-I kinda wished that I got your version of iPod nano, so much more usefuller (yes, not a word). Yesterday, we had a powercut (hey did any of you Jaffas get a powercut as well? (Yes, we all know what Jaffas mean, but this IS internet and I don't like giving my place in the world to all you unknown secret stalkers out there)) and Dad was asking whether or not I had a radio on my iPod, and I said no. He said, "Thing's useless..." and Mum said, "Yeah, well YOU bought it for her..." and I (almost) yelled, "OOH BURN!!!". But seriously, I'd like the 5th generation one. Radio is my life, and there is only so many times I can listen to 'Vanilla Twilight', although I haven't learnt the words off by heart without music yet so it still has some plays to go before I get sick of it.
-Also, out of the song sheets that I have printed out, I have only been able to play 'Chasing Cars' by Snow Patrol and 'Brick By Boring Brick' by Paramore fully, in time with actual music, without block chords, however with BBBB, the left hand if I play it for long enough hurts my fingers >=(
What I'm trying to say is: I have sound recorder, would youl like me to record me playing it on the piano. Probably with mistakes...
-I'm thinking of doing a remake of that picture of Hayley Williams that's currently on your noticeboard, should I put it on the blog? Also maybe one of Cassadee Pope from Hey Monday as well.
LolcatsxParamore crossover!!

Yep, that's about it.
I'll probably be on MSN 4pm onwards tomorrow (27th),

Voice Actor Web
Now this is only for all you manga fans. If your not, then skip straight to the next blog post that is non-existant at this point in time, as you may not get who all these people are...
Yes I know, random roses that seem to appear from nowhere yes? Well he's the King/President of the Host club. And a drama queen.)
aka Fai D. Flowright of Tsubasa Resevoir Chronicles (In a nutshell: Sakura, Princess of Clow, loses her memories in the form of feathers, and her love Syaoran along with Fai, Kurogane and Mokona Midoki go to search for her feathers through the worlds.)
Going back to Tamaki, his Japanese voice actor, Mamoru Miyano, also plays:
Light Yagami from Death Note (a boy finds a notebook where if you write the name of someone in it, they die. He soon becomes Kira a vigilante serial killer who in the end controls most of Japan, while still being part of the detective force trying to find Kira).

Oh and while we are on a roll here, I'd like to also mention that Ed's Japanese Voice Actor, Romi Park, also plays Toshiro Hitsugaya from Bleach (Ichigo Kurosaki has always been able to see ghosts, however, one night he meets Rukia Kuchiki, a Shinigami, or person who purifies ghosts and helps them go to the other side, and gets turned into a Shinigami. After Rukia gets taken prisoner, he must go rescue her.)

Just as a reference. I was originally going CONSPIRACY?! But no, I don't think so.
Ok, I did originally have a brainstorm type thing going on, but as much as I magnified it, it didn't work. Fail yes?
So I'm going to have to tell you about it. Not exactly as I had intended, but that's alright.
Alright so I got this idea while watching Ouran High School Host Club anime, which is my new favourite shojo manga. Yes it beats Cardcaptors (liked the anime better), Vampire Knight, Shugo Chara and Full Moon... (however it does seem to go on and on...). For those still reading this, it's about this girl called Haruhi and she got into this posh rich school on a scholarship. While trying to find a study room, she stumbles on the Host Club, a club where these guys 'spend time with beautiful rich women with too much time on their hands' aka 'randomly charm women who swoon and faint while talking to the hosts'. She accidently breaks an 8 million yen vase. To pay off her debt, she has to become a host (she got mistaken for a guy by the host club at first anyway) and pretend to be a guy. Cue chaos.
Moving on, I noticed that one of the main characters, by the name of Tamaki Suoh...
(aka this guy:
Yes I know, random roses that seem to appear from nowhere yes? Well he's the King/President of the Host club. And a drama queen.)...sounded a bit like this guy...
(aka Edward Elric, one of, if not the best Edward in the whole frigging world *YOU HEARD ME!!!*, genuis, supposed midget (he's taller than me... *headdesk*), alchemist from Full Metal Alchemist. FMA is about 2 boys, Edward and Alphonse Elric, who live in an alternate world, where instead of science, alchemy is used to create, try to resurrect their dead mother, but fail, losing parts (Ed) and all (Al) of their bodies. They become part of the military and try to unravel the secrets surrounding the philosopher's stone, and the mysterious Homunculi.)
and I found out they have the same English voice actor by the name of Vic Micnogna. I think I spelt it wrong. (AHHHHHHHHHHH)
And he also does this guy too:
He also plays Daxter of Jak and Daxter. I think.
Going back to Tamaki, his Japanese voice actor, Mamoru Miyano, also plays:
Light Yagami from Death Note (a boy finds a notebook where if you write the name of someone in it, they die. He soon becomes Kira a vigilante serial killer who in the end controls most of Japan, while still being part of the detective force trying to find Kira).
and also Zero Kiryuu (:D) from Vampire Knight (Yuuki, at a small age was orphaned. She was also rescued by Kaname Kuran from a rouge vampire. She now lives with her adopted brother Zero and her adopted father, headmaster of Cross Academy. Cross Academy has two classes: Day class for humans and Night Class for Vampires. Yuuki and Zero must make sure no one in the Day Class must know about the Night Class. However, her world seems to turn upside down when she finds out that Zero is a vampire himself.)
Now I suppose your asking, "Sylvia, why did you just show me this?" and also, "Um, I already kinda knew that. It's plain freaking obvious n00b."
Well, for all those not so educated with seiyuus and voice actors of the anime world, i.e. most of the people I know, I thought this was something interesting that you might find interesting. So there.
Meh fine whatever, that was a waste of time...

Hey! This blog is not dead :D aka Sylvia's holiday abridged or the highlights of it
Slight T rating kthnx
Also the novel of the picture book 'How to Live Forever' by Colin Thompson. If you haven't seen the picture book before, I advise you to take 10-15 minutes just sitting and looking at the pictures, themes, book covers and spotting the recurring images. Seriously, it is WICKED for a picture book. ODS Tuesday Senior Class of '08? '07? love Max! And Ruby! And no, I don't mean those bunnies from that show on Nickelodeon.
(is Gibbsmacked).
So, lately what I have been doing?
-My friends came over. We ran out of things to do and started playing Ludo.
~Sylvia
Just that I can't be bummed writing in it cos I've been reading lots of Fanfiction. Of course this is wrecking my already wrecked eyes even more but you know, since I'm not rich and can't afford to print all my reading pages out, then read them, this is the second best choice.
Um I went to Angel's home town which was big news a few years ago as Rove thought it's name rude because it sounds like your saying f****r... well yeah there was a debate between him and John Campbell... OH WHY DID YOU HAVE TO STOP YOUR AWESOME PROGRAMME ROVE?! I HAD GREAT DREAMS OF WANTING TO BE ON THERE WHEN I BECAME A SUCCESSFUL AUTHOR in like fifteenish years BUT STILL?????!!!!!!! *is Gibbslapped then kicked**hem* moving on...
It wasn't as small as I thought it was. I found the library decent but not enough to satisfy my literature needs [pushes non-existant glasses further up onto the bridge of nose, like one of those guys that always is planning something, like Kyoya!]. [Although, it had some kickass books in there...]
What I'm trying to say is that I got some decent books from there, like the Looking Glass Wars and Seeing Red by some guy whose name I can't put my finger on... TO GOOGLE! Frank Beddor, that's it.
Also got Frostbite, second in the Vampire Academy series.
*mini lolwut? rant rated T start*
Cos I felt like it. 1st one I finished in 3ish days. All I gotta say is that it uses the word sex waaaay too many times for my liking... *readers' eyebrows raise suspiciously and amusedly* AWW SHADDAP! Just because I find erotic things icky and uncomfortable and too maturely immature for my liking [anyone getting my drift] doesn't mean that you can mock me...
Well, put it this way, if I ever met the Ouran High School Host Club in some random circumstances [putting emphasis on the Host Club for those who don't know the manga] and I didn't acutally know who they were, and Tamaki put his bloody supposed 'Kingly' face around 10 cm near mine and done the whole "You are the only princess in my eyes.." crap, I would've
a) Screamed in his face
b) shoved him away
b) shoved him away
c1) Punch him
OR
c2) Gibbslapped him. [Oh the wonders on Gibbslapping... NCIS = PURE EPIC :D]
Or both... then he can just grow mushrooms in the dejected emo corner for all I would've cared...[but since I know who he is, I probably would've just called sexual abuse instead and do the whole *hi face! meet my hand shoving you away!*]
No wait, if any guy/girl did that i would've done that, and I KNEW THEY WEREN'T JOKING, I would've done that. Probably, depends on circumstances.
*mini lolwut? rant rated T end*

Seriously, it is WICKED for a picture book. ODS Tuesday Senior Class of '08? '07? love Max! And Ruby! And no, I don't mean those bunnies from that show on Nickelodeon.
Oh and Inkspell, 2nd in the Inkheart series. I know you said it was crap Carena, but I just had to know how crap :D *is shoed*
Although, with all my "OMGWTFBBQIFOUNDLIBRARYBOOKSINANGELSTINYLIBRARYWTFZOMGGGGGG"-ing
I only got through the Looking Glass Wars and 1/2 way through Seeing Red that week. That was a good effort for 3 days though, I must admit. [i had to return them cos I couldn't take the books with me back to my house 4ish hours away...]
Oh yah I bought Owl City's 'Ocean Eyes' CD there too. It's pretty good, although the songs kinda start to merge together. Fave: Vanilla Twilight Blah: The Bird and The Worm WTF: What me and Angel like to refer to as 'The Dental Care Song' aka Dental Care. Angel likes to do this kind of horizontal upper torso+limbs movement that includes jazz hands and random insane eyes that Roxy [her sister] and I like to call the Dental Care Dance. It drives us up the wall. I had some friends [from old school] over and we played that Dental Care song and MY FRIEND did the EXACT SAME THING!! WHAT THE HELL?! On confronting her about psychic-ly doing practically the same thing, she says that the song's kind of 'aura' or 'feeling' about the song... Ok, now I'm gonna scream CONSPIRACY >.<
(is Gibbsmacked).
